Biography

July, 21st 1982. Since he was a child, he showed his interest in audiovisual field, and more specifically, in film world. Furthermore, he codirect, with the producer David Fernández, the musical documentary “Redacciones Personales”.

At the end of 2010, he started to write the script of the animation full-length film with puppets “El Bandido Cucaracha” with Héctor Pisa, which was codirected by them later. Once its premiere was hold in December of 2015, the film had four nominations (best direction, best feature film, best art direction and best actor in a leading role) in Simón awards from Aragonés Film Academy, only exceeded in nominations by “La novia” by Paula Ortiz.

Additionally, he took part in the program of the 43st Cinema Festival of Huesca (2015) as speaker giving a series of speeches about the base of the fulfillment of a cinematographic project.

Afterwards in 2016, “El Bandido Cucaracha” won the best direction award in ANSS (Buenos Aires), best animated feature film in Paragon Film Festival of Los Angeles (USA), best animated feature film of CSIFF of India, best animated feature film of Baja Cinefest (Mexico), Special jury award in the Long and Short Film Festival of Santiago de Chile and eventually won the audience award of Animation Festival Be There of Corfu (Greece), competing against films as “Psiconautas” and “Adama”.

Moreover, he took part as jury in the 9th Contest of Short Films in Bujaraloz in 2016.

At the beginning of 2017, he started the shooting of the short film “Wake Up!”, a psychological thriller of which he is the director and scriptwriter.
